Excellent authentic Chinese noodles! nice ambiance in the bamboo yard. special lemon ice tea is better then any store- brought. must try combo!
Food: Had the chopstix noodles. Noodles were fresh, pork was tasty but there wasn’t much bok choy as advertised. Meat dumplings were not that good, the cover was way too thick. Their bubble tea and ice tea were delicious but soy milk was very watered down imo. Service: Staff was very friendly and helpful Atmosphere: Their outside sitting is cute if the weather is nice. But it’s not too big.
Authentic chinese food. The noodles seem to be fresh, and the lajiao (hot oil) makes the dishes very tasty. There are 3 levels of hotness, and the mild one adds a lot of flavour without being hot at all, thankfully. The fried balls filled with sesame paste taste heavenly, and are highly recommended. The first time we went there, there was a healthy balance of noodles, meat and potatoes, but unfortunately last Friday we went there again and the dish was just noodles, and more noodles, and very little meat and potatoes. The photos shown with this review are the photos of my first visit to the restaurant, some items are no longer offered at this restaurant. Also, the menus are not descriptive, you just look at the photos and you're supposed to guess what's in each dish and what's the difference between each dish. Lastly, the serviette holders and the sauce containers could use some cleaning.
We ordered two types of noodles: one with soup and the other without. Both were good. The one without soup had more ingredients. The soup version had a flavorful broth. The noodles were fresh and chewy. The drinks were nothing special. There were some tables upstairs. The food was delicious, the location was central, but the space was rather small, and you could easily overhear the conversations around you.
We have only been here once, but it was absolutely wonderful. They only have a few dishes on the menu, but they are absolutely amazing. The Chief's secret had an absolutely delicious sauce. Very authentic place. The prices are great for Belgium, too. The space is very small. In warm weather you can sit outside in the garden. We will definitely come here again. UPDATE : We were here a week or 2 back and there was an awful lot of oil in the noodles. :/
