Visiting Chocolate, is like visiting a long known friend. The staff is very friendly, helpful and even ask to take pictures of you in front of their awesome wall of roses. The whole ambience is awesome, the style definitely unique. They offer delicious waffles, fresh strawberries and even unique addons like a cute capybara made out of panacotta. What caught us by surprise was the high cost of this experience. We would appreciate for the future to have a little bit more transparency on the pricing for the waffles + addons by handing out some kind of menu to the guests.
We visited Chocotale in Antwerp after hearing about their famous Capybaras, and it was definitely a fun and unique experience! The food was nice, and the drinks were superb, the rose drink tasted like pure rose, and the mango passion fruit one was especially delicious. I had the dark chocolate Capybara and my girlfriend ordered the pink one, but she received a purple one instead, without any mention or warning beforehand. That was a bit disappointing, especially since the presentation is a big part of the experience. Considering our total came to about €64 for two Capybaras and drinks, it does feel quite expensive when what you receive isn’t exactly what you ordered. The pistachio cream and chocolate flavor were both very good — though the dark chocolate one was quite heavy. Despite the high price, the service really stood out: the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and even offered to take pictures for us. Overall, a lovely visit with excellent service and drinks, but I’d expect a bit more consistency for the price.
Superfriendly staff and i could not believe how cute were the chocolates! I particularly loved the Labubu shaped ones. Great concept really different than your average chocolate store definitely adviced if you are searching an original chocolate gift! All parts of the chocolates are handmade that is also special! Will be back to try more :)
We're here in Belgium just for a few days, but we just had the best Waffle we could ever imagine! A Dubay chocolate style waffle, also with ice cream on top. Just wow. So delicious! The place is small but that makes it even more special. Attention is put in every detail, from the products (everything seems so nice and with an even better taste) to the shop in general. Last but not least, the girl who served us is so lovely! Super nice, her passion is shown everywhere in the shop. Thank you so much! Definitely worth a visit when you're in Antwerp!!
Althought the price was a bit high, the Dubai Chocolate Waffle was amazing! We also try Dragon Fruit drink that was really good. The Burger cookies were good, but we expexted more. Despite this, we had a great experience!! We will come back for sure!
