I had the menu with a beer pairing; the food in combination with the beer was fantastic and memorable. Also compliments to the staff, which was very attentive and yet discrete.
Amazing place! The beer selection is top-notch, the food is high-quality and beautifully prepared. You can feel the love in every detail. The service? Absolutely fantastic – warm, attentive, and professional. We’ll definitely be back 🤗
I had a great dining experience at GUS with a partner. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and opted for the 3-course menu. The starters —'Oeuf mollet mimosa, asperges et herbes d'orge' for me and 'Foie gras poêlé, jus court à la kriek, betterave' for the other person — were both excellent. For the main course, I chose the 'Filet de lieu jaune, bearnaise de crustacés,' while the other person had the 'Filet de veau, condiment ravigote, tombée de radis à la bière'—both were delicious. To finish, I had the 'Cappuccino Stout,' one of their signature desserts, which has been on the menu for years, while the other person went for the cheese plate. The service was attentive, and the pacing of the dishes was just right—not too fast, not too slow. Overall, a highly recommended experience! A small note for future guests: a credit card pre-payment is required to book a table, even for two people, which feels slightly excessive. There’s also no clear information on when the reserved amount is released after the visit – it might be helpful if the restaurant provided some clarity on this. That said, the experience was excellent, and I’d happily return!
Fantastic experience, amazing starters and desserts. Main dish was slightly less impressive. Very pleased with their service and atmosphere.
Every dishes were delicious and flavorful. Lobster ravioli was my favorite. The concept of the restaurant is the bring beer & food together but we did not get the taste of beer that much. The service was very slow , the duration between each course was approximately around 20 minutes even there were only 3 tables when we were there. The price was reasonable with the portion.
