Canale Restaurant Chania

Came across this spot in the harbor and it was totally worth it! The portions are big and delicious, prices are very fair, and the homemade fries were amazing. Everything we tried was so tasty. Lovely atmosphere right on the water, with friendly, fast service. Definitely a place to enjoy without rushing.

Everything was fantastic. Each dish tasted good. The salad was amazing. Tasty dressing, generous amount of chicken. The pasta was amazing. The pork was 🔥. Good atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Must reserve a day in advance!

Wonderful lunch by the sea in Chania. Beautiful view, the restaurant was clean and fashionable. Inside and outdoor seating. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Great service! The food was excellent and very well presented. We shared the meatballs, a warm salad, pork chops and cheesecake. Would highly recommend Canale!!

the food was sooo good, first and foremost. before coming here, i went on a private boat tour around Chania and my captain who was born and grew up in Crete recommended this place for the good meat. i trusted him being a local and i was so happy that i did. i ordered the lamb chops which were exquisite. the cretan salad was so refreshing and paired well with the lamb chops. the vibes and ambience were great. they had a DJ playing some chill house vibes and it was not too loud. very relaxing and nice. the service was also very good. i appreciated the staff asking if i wanted to have the meals paired together and they would check in with good questions vs making assumptions. the place is quite busy/popular but appreciated the timely checkins for ordering food. the view of the venetian harbor topped it all off for a scenic evening.

We had a delightful lunch at Canale while our cruise ship was in port for the day. We were a group of four and opted to get several small plates to share. Everything we ordered was fantastic, but the marinated octopus was the crowd favorite. The drinks were delicious as well. When we were finished, our server brought out complimentary dessert and drinks. Service and atmosphere was wonderful and I’d easily come back again to try out more of the menu. Highly recommend.
