DOT - District of Toast

Had breakfast/brunch here and it was really excellent! Outdoor seating with a stylish vibe in nice location. Food was super tasty! I really liked the Turkish eggs! I also liked the drink specials, the 1+1 Arancino was a great deal and a great drink. Ordering is from the QR code menu and is easy and fast. Staff was polite and efficient. Everything was nice and clean. Pretty hard to ask for more from a restaurant. 😁

It's not a bad looking place, but it's bad overall because: - coffee mediocre, but the matcha latte is basically 99% 'latte'. The matcha is the friends you make along the journey - no water, spoon, or sugar given with the coffee! Bad - the food is... not good. Would help if at least salt was given on the tables. Chimichurri is terrible, hummus is tasteless, and the cheese in the american bowl was cold. - waited a lot for the payment, even though everything is made in browser/app. Overall verdict: avoid. Overhyped place, you are better off with one of the other brunch locals on the same street/hood.

1 star because we ordered food 4 persons and arrived 3 after 10 minutes and had to finish the coffee, juice, smoke 2 cigarettes, with food in front of us, because was akward to start eating and 4th person to stare at us.. even if our order was ready early, keep it in the kitchen, don’t bring it so we can fight with flies 20 minutes.. you tought 3 persons will start to eat and the 4th to look at us? Recently I ended up here for a late breakfast and I can say the place deserves the good talk around it. The menu is pretty wide, you find things from simple toast with spreads to heavier options like eggs with yogurt sauce or different cheese combinations. Coffee was good quality and the size was right, not those tiny cups. The atmosphere feels easy going, more relaxed than fancy, and it helps that the location has both indoor and outside tables. Staff moved quick and were friendly without overdoing it. In short, a spot where brunch feels smooth and the food actually makes you want to come back another day.

Really nice place to brunch. The food was good, service was fast. Several brunch menu’s to choose from, it was tasty. Several coffee options, vegan included. Beers, spirits available. Cozy industrial place, don’t expect luxurious style. Terrace available, blankets to keep you warm available. Toilet is equiped with everything you need in for a refresh.
