I had a flawless dinner at Alma Prague. The service was attentive yet relaxed, the vibrant terrace seating and dishes were truly memorable. We began with the beef tartare, perfectly seasoned and beautifully balanced. The zucchini schnitzel was a revelation — light, crisp, and packed with out-of-this-world flavours I never expected. The whole grilled trout was equally impressive, fresh, delicate, and deeply satisfying. To top it off, we paired the meal with an excellent Slovak orange wine that complemented every bite. Sitting on the terrace in perfect weather, with amazing company, elevated the evening even further. Alma captures exactly what dining in Prague should be: refined yet welcoming, creative yet comforting, and utterly unforgettable.
Alma is an absolute delight — a place where beautiful atmosphere, warm service, and exceptional food come together seamlessly. The space is stylish yet inviting, striking a perfect balance between modern and cozy. The food was outstanding, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. A special mention goes to their homemade sourdough — perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and tangy inside. Truly one of the best we’ve had. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Prague, Alma is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality, creativity, and genuine hospitality.
I like this place because normally the service is very good and the atmosphere is chill. We did enjoy our starters and main courses, though the desserts are not that good. My recommendation is to book a table, to always try your wine before you order a glass. The best starter is tartar and the best main dish is halloumi. In general I feel that menu needs to be thoroughly inspected and reworked in order to offer a bit more value add for that price. It seems a bit random and tries to cater to everyone’s preferences instead of telling a story.
I visited Prague for the weekend. I browsed through Restaurants that suite my requirements, and my decision was to go to this Alma Restaurant. The food was excellent, the wine was also nicely accompanied the food. Unbelievable friendly service. Highly recommended! when you visit Prague. It is my preferred choice and I am loving it.
This restaurant is a true gem—elegant, modern, and cozy all at once. The interior is beautifully designed with soft lighting and stylish decor that creates a relaxed yet upscale vibe. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish feels carefully crafted, and the flavors really shine. The wine list is excellent, with a great mix of classic labels and interesting new finds. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend pairings. Perfect for a date night or special dinner—chic, delicious, and worth every visit.
