The presentation was absolutely stunning—artistic and thoughtful, almost too beautiful to eat. The mango duck duck with jasmine rice was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with fresh vegetables. The carved carrot flower on top of the rice added a beautiful touch. The chicken satay skewers were tender, well-marinated, and paired perfectly with the creamy, nutty peanut sauce. The mojito's were the best I've had in a long time and the pricing was very reasonable. The restaurant strikes a balance between modern elegance and cozy comfort. The staff were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu. Service was smooth without being intrusive and they were really fun and polite. Fame is not just about food—it’s about a complete dining experience. Will definitely go again and recommend to everyone that visits or lives in Prague.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at FAME. She is from Thailand and I've spent years of my life in southeast Asia - we are both "foodies" and we found the food here very tasty, made with super-fresh ingredients. The head chef is from Thailand and the flavors were authentic. The owner Steve was friendly and offered a nice description of various dishes on the menu. He also made an outstanding cocktail with prosecco and peach liquor. Mary provided great service and it was nice to meet the chef Ya Ya. The atmosphere is what I'd call casual elegant - not striving to look like anything other than a comfortable place to have excellent Thai food.
This place was right outside the Hotel we were staying and had good reviews so we decided to try it. The restaurant was empty when we walked in so we were able to be seated right away. We ordered Tom Kha chicken soup, pad Thai chicken, Chicken fried rice and No. 24 on the menu. Food tasted decent and we found the portion sizes to be expensive for the price. Tom Kha soup was a bit liquid on the texture. Ambience is nice. We were expecting the food to come in first but the main course came in first and soup came after. Service was good and friendly.
This restaurant is a gem. If you are after truly authentic and tasty Thai food, this is the place to go to. The service is impeccable. The wait staff, Philip, is a real asset to the restaurant. He was helpful and friendly. Willing to make changes to the dish as requested without any fuss. Unfortunately we discovered this restaurant towards the end of our stay in Prague so we only managed to squeeze in two meals. Both times were delicious. In our travels across Europe, this is the best Thai food we've had.
Filip took great care of us. He made excellent recommendations on both the food and the drink. I got the mango duck and the duck breast was so well cooked! The spice level was just right and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals immensely. We had red curry chicken and beef massaman with extra veggies. Plus an order of tasty spring rolls to start. Yum!! We will come again next time we are in Prague!
