Alcron Restaurant

We had the pleasure of celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary here. We had eaten at Noma only two weeks prior so know what an exceptional restaurant can do. I had done a fair bit of research to find the right restaurant in Prague as my wife is a vegetarian and I wanted the meal to be special, and special it was. Simon attended to us and every single dish he served us was as good as what we ate at Noma. The service is impeccable, both in timing of food, and friendliness of the staff, I watched and they provided this level of service for every diner near us. It is not Michelin starred, but it should be, get in quick before it is and the meal prices go up to match the standard of food they serve. My only regret is that we live on the other side of the world and we can’t be regular patrons

Dining at Alcron Restaurant was truly unforgettable. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, with a refined Art Deco-inspired design that makes the evening feel special from the very first moment. The service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and perfectly timed. And the food? Simply outstanding! From the freshly baked bread to the creative snacks, beautifully balanced small plates, and mains full of flavor (fried cauliflower and pasta with confit duck), every bite was a delight. Desserts like the Prague Cake and Chocolate Pavé were the perfect sweet ending. A must-visit for anyone in Prague who loves fine dining done right.

We always find it difficult to try Michelin star restaurants because I am a vegetarian and you dont have many of these, so it was the same story this time around as well. Voila, then came Alcron and its not a Michelin star but very much deserves to be one again. The food was exceptional. Definitely try the Bryndza and the Wheat dumplings if you are vegetarian. The chocolate pavé with strawberry sorbet keeps you wanting more. The service was exceptional as well and the staff was super friendly. If you are in Prague then this one is a must do.

Their thoughtfulness and kindness added a heartfelt touch to the occasion. A special shoutout to the manager, Michal, who was exceptional in his attention to detail. He guided us through the wine pairing with enthusiasm and expertise, enhancing our dining experience even further. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and professional. I highly recommend Alcron to anyone visiting Prague, whether you're looking for a refined dining experience or planning a special celebration with your loved ones.
