Czech Slovak Restaurant

Simply the best! I was in Prague for a work trip and dined here alone on Sunday evening. I had the tasting menu and wine pairing. It was stunning from start to finish! Each course was well presented and most importantly delicious. My waiter was charming and super professional. The head chef brought out some courses (and drinks!) too, i even got some bonus courses. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. If I could give more than 5 stars i would.

Amazing find in Prague! We decided to come here last minute and it was incredible. We had the 7 course tasting menu that was perfection. Food presentation and taste were immaculate as was the service -- all outstanding. We will be back next time we're in Prague!

We booked this restaurant before we went to Czechia for our holidays. This was to be the highlight of our visit and it didn't disappoint. It went above and beyond our expectations because of the enthusiasm and effort that everyone took over the food and the drink. I was helped out deciding on beer by being given two samples to try. My partner had the wine pairing and didn't expect to sample and decide on the wine for each course between two different wines, all from Czechia. There were seven courses in all and I helped out with the wine too. Fantastic food and fascinating hearing the reasons for the wine choices. It was an incredible journey through the meal. So many different tastes and textures. We had to skip some wine. We were so glad we had booked it. Also glad we went hungry, so much food, skip lunch to come here.

If you only have time to visit one restaurant in Prague… … make sure it’s this one! We are fortunate to have enjoyed dinner at many amazing restaurants worldwide. This is in our top five meals ever and certainly our best meal this holiday, which has included food in Austria, Belgium & the Netherlands, as well as the Czech Republic. Exceptional and knowledgeable staff, beautifully prepared and presented food and a wine list that is out of the ordinary and reflects this restaurant’s aim of showcasing Czech cuisine and produce. Highly recommended, next time we are back in Prague, we will make sure to visit the Czech Slovak Restaurant again!

The restaurant is not big. The decor is simple. It is not air conditioned. The food was great. We enjoyed the soups. They were amazing. The signature main course was changed to chicken for us. We loved it but were not used to their vegetables though. Overall it was a pleasant and satisfying experience 😀😀😀😀😀
