Soul Bistro

Newly re-opened restaurant. Spacious and nice interior. Great service (also in English). Menu a bit different than before. Fair prices. I would return to try some other dishes 😊

The tomato soup is super. The food is decent but I miss the old menu.

Edit: Soul can be found on different address now, the menu changed a bit but quality is still the same :) I have visited this place more times and there's always something delicious waiting for you. Seasonal menu has some special items, suitable even for vege or vegan people. Moravian wines are perfect. Service is superb. Make a reservation in advance.

Honestly, I don't know why this place has such high ratings. Considering the price-quality ratio, I can give it a maximum of 3.5 stars. Prices are like in Prague, but unfortunately, the quality does not match. The dim sum average. The fish & chips you will get large portion, but the coating taste like made from pancake dough. The service was nice, but the venue needs a furniture refresh.

My favorite restaurant to eat in Brno! The meals are always amazing, and the whole atmosphere and the decoration of the place is almost magical. I strongly recommend to make a reservation, as it might very well happen that you will just not find a free table at the place.
