Experiential cuisine from local ingredients in a modern form. A small menu of great dishes with an emphasis on detail. Pleasant starters, main courses and desserts. The wine list offers local wines. The offer also includes cocktails that go very well with the meals. The staff was pleasant and caring.
Element Bar & Restaurant in Brno has garnered plenty of praise for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional food. Reviewers consistently highlight the lively, trendy vibe, describing it as a “culinary hotspot” with a “great atmosphere” that’s perfect for everything from date nights to group dinners. The decor is tasteful, blending a modern, lounge-like feel with comfort, and the open kitchen adds an energetic buzz, letting diners watch the skilled team, led by head chef Tomáš Reger, in action. The food is a standout, often described as “Michelin star level” yet surprisingly affordable, with dishes like deer carpaccio, pork belly with crispy skin, and pumpkin gnocchi earning high marks for their quality and presentation. The menu, though concise, focuses on local ingredients with global inspiration, offering creative takes like arancini and baba ganoush that transport diners to other cuisines. Vegetarian options are clearly marked, and the kitchen accommodates dietary restrictions well. Cocktails, crafted by champion bartender Jan Liška, are a major draw, with reviewers raving about their creativity and perfect pairing with meals. The wine list, featuring local Moravian wines like Frankovka, also gets frequent shout-outs for complementing the food beautifully. Service is another strong point, with staff described as attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, often going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Overall, Element is celebrated as one of Brno’s top dining spots, with reviews calling it “the best restaurant in Brno” and a place where “every bite makes the experience better.”
Had an amazing steak—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Only downside: the tables are a bit too close, which made it feel a little cramped. Still worth it for the food!
The best restaurant in Brno? Element. Every time we are in Brno, we go here. And not just once ;)
We went there for our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. We ordered the cheese selection for starters, and I highly recommend it. Both the main dish and dessert were not only delicious but also creatively presented, with chef’s touches that made it an incredible experience. My partner ordered wine, and I had cocktails — I can’t even say which I would recommend more! We spent around 100 euros, and it was totally worth it!
