Hatsu restaurant

Hatsu is an amazing restaurant which provides you an excellent meal, service and has a great atmosphere. After my first visit, it became my favourite restaurant in Brno. We highly recommend the Crab tempura as a starter and for dessert the brownie with vanilla ice-cream. The brownie was just pure heaven.

Amazing Asian restaurant in Brno. They specialize in Japaness/Korean/fusion. Food is very tasty and we experienced one of the best services in Czechia. On the other hand it is kinda expensive. Definitely a great place for fancy dinners.

The restaurant has an interesting interior with Japanese-style tables for seating. The staff is friendly and some speak English. They offer many recommended dishes, but most of them are quite spicy, so it may not be ideal for those who prefer milder flavors. However, I feel that the prices are a bit too high for the quality and taste of the food. In my opinion, there are better restaurants in Brno to try. The desserts were a disappointment; the brownie was dry and almost burnt, and the matcha creme brulee was nothing special. Overall, the food was just average, and the desserts were below average. We ended up paying 2000,- kc for two people and one bottle of wine, which I believe is too expensive for what we got. I do not recommend this restaurant.

We have been several times in Asia and I can verify that the food they are serving is quite close to what you can get in Korea or in Japan. Specifically the bibimbap was almost exactly as we had it in Seoul. What was spicy was quite spicy, but that's what you would expect. We would have small comments to the service, their attention and atmosphere, but nothing that could stop you from visiting the place if you like food mainly from Korea.

We were booking this place for our team building twice, and I have to admit that Hatsu sushi is really one of the best in Brno. For sushi fans I would recommend trying the options from the menu section "Fusion" and "Tempura". My choice was "Snowy" and "Dragonfly" and my colleague selected "Dragonfly" and "Absolute tempura roll". All of them were delicious. A couple of notes for the people who plan to come there first time - be sure to book a table in advance, this place is really popular. You can ask for an English menu if you don't speak Czech, and the waiters speak English too. Also, keep in mind that this place doesn't have internet.
