We had high expectations for this well-reviewed restaurant, and while the surf n turf was indeed delicious, it was unfortunately the only highlight of the meal. The soup was far too salty for our taste, and the steak—ordered medium-rare—was served overcooked, closer to medium-well. When we shared this feedback with our server, it was clear he wasn’t truly listening or interested in our experience. We understand it might have been a long shift, but we expected more professionalism and attentiveness, especially at a place of this reputation. A simple acknowledgment or effort to make things right would have gone a long way.

Surf and turf was great, with a very generous portion. Service was warm and welcoming even though I was dining alone. Reminder to make a booking in advance as tables fill up quite quickly. Their choices of red wine (by glass) are somewhat limited though - most were on the “lighter” side. Good to know - they charge extra for credit card payment and they generally prefer cash (can’t recall if they offer discount).

The restaurant has a nice, well-decorated interior and can accommodate many people. The food wasn't quite to my taste, perhaps because I'm not very fond of mild Danish cuisine. However, the service was excellent.

I had the pleasure of dining at this charming Copenhagen restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The intimate, welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an evening of refined, innovative Danish cuisine. Highlights included the teriyaki-glazed venison carpaccio—perfectly balanced and flavorful—and the dry-aged veal prime rib, which was incredibly tender and expertly cooked. We ended on a high note with a refreshing passionfruit cheesecake. The restaurant is fully celiac-friendly, offering a safe and uncompromising experience for gluten-free diners. Exceptional food, thoughtful service, and a cozy setting make this a must-visit spot in Copenhagen. I’ll definitely be returning!

I wasn’t too impressed with the starters here – the meat was a bit undercooked for my taste. However, the main course was delicious and well-seasoned, and the dessert was also really good. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, although the food took quite a while to be served. The space is spacious, clean, and comfortable.
