Booked a table for evening meal. Absolutely fantastic. Had the best cauliflower cheese dish I ever had. All courses were amazing and memorable too. Outstanding on all levels. Thank you
Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere! We ordered the 5 course menu and highly recommend it! They have multiple “surprise” dishes throughout the courses which were nicely timed and very good. The mussel soup was incredible and the lobster entree. Only thing I would change is the beef entree was very large and hard to cut. I think the overall flavor of the dish would benefit from a reduction in the amount of meat served. Also request the back room if possible, there is greenery everywhere that adds to the cozy feeling.
I had an absolutely amazing meal at Høst! It was perhaps the best meal I had on my entire trip. I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. The cuisine was definitely Danish but with an elegant flare. I was seated in the basement, which I was not thrilled about initially but I ended up really enjoying my time. The standout course was the tenderloin but I absolutely loved the “surprise” courses that come out in between the regular ones. There was a mushroom soup poured over herbs that was unbelievable. Do not miss this place! Fairly reasonable price too!
The most incredible experience. We had the three course meal and it was amazing. Three courses, with just the main to choose. In between there were little surprise tasters. All were delicious. The beef was incredible. I asked for no sauce as I do not like mushrooms and they went to the kitchen and got me an alternative. Friendly and attentive staff. Gorgeous decor with lots of plants and a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend for a nice meal.
Really cool tasting menus with farm to table vibes, feels like you’re eating in a barn. We did the 5 course tasting menu and it turned out to be closer to a 10 course tasting menu because they kept bringing us surprise after surprise of dishes that were not on the menu, it kept us on our toes. We especially loved the scallops, chicken, mussel soup, chocolate truffles, and petit four! Servers were very nice, although pace of service was a bit all over the place. Overall a very cool experience with unique food for a good price for a fine dining tasting menu, definitely would try again!
