Service was impeccable, staff were absolutely lovely and we felt very welcome. Food came quickly and was very tasty, a great taste of traditional Danish food. There was even some vegetarian options, which is unlike most places in Copenhagen.
Amazing food and service at Karla! Tried the Danish pork roast, beef fillet, and blueberry ice cream — all were delicious. Friendly staff and a great experience overall.
What a wonderful experience! We booked reservations during an extremely busy weekend (the Royal Run). We arrived early and were sat at our reserved table right away. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food was exceptional! Full of flavors, cooked perfectly, and had excellent pairings. The atmosphere was charming and we loved being sat in the window on the lofted level.
Came here with no booking on a Friday evening (rookie mistake) but they were able to sit me right away and fit me into the slot. The food was very delicious. I had the potato and leek soup, roast pork, and strawberries and ice cream. All of the food was delicious and generous portions. The only factor and why it doesn’t get 5 stars is the price. Of course it is Copenhagen so nothing is cheap, but i still recommended to come here just for the experience. Service was great and waiters had smiles on their faces. Love to see it. Will be back here if in Copenhagen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟
During my first trip ever to Denmark, I've been to this restaurant. Over all the restaurant decoration looks okay on the ground floor level, but the lower ground floor level has a unique atmosphere to it. I have had the classic 2 course meal, which is herring with aquavit, sour cream and dill sauce with bread and Danish roast pork with red cabbage, boiled potatoes and gravy (in photo) This is my first time trying Danish food and I would imagine this to be relatively authentic. The herring definitely has a unique taste to it, but for someone who never had food like this before, I find it good with its unique flavour. The Danish roast pork, that pork has to be one of the most tender pork I have ever had, it would literally melt in your mouth. The pork skin is crispy and crunchy, the whole thing going along with the gravy is a solid 5/5 to me. Waiter is friendly and helpful as well. If you are travelling to Denmark and wanted to try something local, I would recommend this from my excellent experience.
