The best steakhouse I have ever been to. The steak itself is tender, tasty and cooked to perfection the way you want it. They have some fantastic side dishes, like the incredible mashed potato with bacon and wagyu grease. The waiter is attentive, polite and effective. They have a good selection of wine and I have previously received a recommendation from one of their waiters that I still come back to (The Boxer by Mollydocker). They also make a mean Irish Coffee with a the coffee itself beeing fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. It comes at a cost but is worth every Danish crown.
had a bit of a bad experience. lack of service. the meet tasted bitter likely due to butter being too burnt. the uruguay meat was well done even though we asked for medium rare. usually wouldn’t review off a one time experience but this has happened in one way or another the last 3-4 times. the meat is pricey and for the price i do expect more quality over the meat and service
Fantastic experience at KöD! I had the pleasure of enjoying a three-course signature menu, and it was nothing short of an exquisite gastronomic experience. We started with lobster tortellini, which was perfectly cooked and filled with delicate flavors. The main course was a tender, juicy Angus Uruguay fillet, cooked to perfection and served with delicious sides that complemented the meat perfectly. We finished with a creamy and crisp crème brûlée, accompanied by a fresh and tangy raspberry sorbet – the perfect end to a superb meal. The restaurant has an incredibly cozy atmosphere with charming decor, making for a relaxing and inviting ambiance. The service was top-notch; friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, a fantastic experience at a reasonable price. I highly recommend KöD to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be coming back!
Although their menu is small, they do offer a good enough variety. However, as much as i want to love it, it is not a good enough "stake house". Their medium meat is well-done so make sure you take it into account. Their carpaccio is VERY good on the other hand and so is the fried chicken.
First impression is a cosy and warm atmosphere and we are friendly greeted and shown our table in the middle of the restaurant, close to the kitchen. I get the Sunday roast (all you can eat) and both my boys choose the striploin 300 gram steaks. While we wait we get some bread croutons, but they weren't dry or hard. We also got some dip, I don't know what it was other than it was really good, to dip the bread in. It was a nice little appetiser while waiting for our food. Free of charge. The food came after 20-25 minutes which was perfectly fine. The food came and it was really nice food, with lots of flavour. The steaks was perfectly cooked just like we ordered, the fried potatoes and the sauces was the same, perfect. All in all a good experience, decent prices, and I have already recommended the place to friends and family. Now I'm recommending it to you guys also. Go, it's worth it.
