Excellent food, nice service, and cosy interior. Highly recommended. Must-visit place for Finnish food: the flavours were amazing and everything tasted homemade. If you want to try real Finnish dishes, you should definitely eat here. Outstanding quality. I had the chef’s menu and it was well-portioned and delicious. Excellent staff!

Nice centrally located cosy traditional restaurant with a good price quality ratio. The portions are fairly large and nicely plated. The list is rather simple but very good with some rather interesting dishes. They also have three different 3-course menus between € 40-60 pp. I took a’la Carte and went for a creamy Lobster soup that was really tasty and rich and as a main for a rarity on menus fried beef tongue with polenta. Very well prepared and tender and the polenta and the added sauce worked well together. For the soup the Sancerre wine worked perfectly and for the tongue some Cabernet Sauvignon. Overall a small but good international wine list with a number of wines per glass that is very nice. Overall a great experience that can really recommend.

Wow - what an incredible restaurant! The food was outstandingly good. The reindeer steak was cooked to perfection and the dessert was Michelin standard. I’m so happy I ate here and thank you to the staff who were so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. I will be recommending this place for sure!

We wanted a special meal to celebrate our week in Helsinki and we were not disappointed. This is an unassuming and charming restaurant and gives exceptional value for a Finnish restaurant of this quality. The server was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Good wine list too. Highly recommended.

We wanted to try some Finnish dishes and it was great idea to select this restaurant! Staff is super sweet and helpful, our server explained us what’s in each dish and where does it come from (as in, history of the dish). She brought some bread and tapenade for the table for free. I ordered a duck with berry sauce and artichoke puree. Duck was cooked to perfection. Everything was so delicious, I’d definitely recommend it for a cozy mouth watering dinner
