Heart of Spain

Went for lunch (after being told last week there would be pork cheek on Wednesday)and true enough pork cheek was on the menu 😍. Beautiful Spanish pork cheek. Slow cooked for 8 hours and 'fall of the fork' tender. Served with Spanish potatoes and peppers. Absolutely delicious. The sort of comforting home cooking your mother might do. There's real passion and care put into the food. €18 for the menu which includes a salad, a filling hearty main dish and cafe con leche to follow. Great value in Tampere.

Only the best from Spain. Great atmosphere to enjoy either with family or friends. Definitely a place to stop by!!!

A fabulous place for that authentic Spanish tapas! Not Spanish prices but worth every penny. The ham is absolutely gorgeous. And coffee wasn’t bad either even though it’s Italian 😂

I had spotted the tapas bar/shop on instagram and wanted to visit since everything looked so delicious. It was even better in real life than what I expected. I live in Helsinki, but it was worth the travel. The service was impeccable, and it was a lovely evening indulging in Spanish food culture. The jamon was very high quality (it was melting in my mouth). The small plates and drinks were reasonably priced. I bought some membrillo (quince paste) from the small shop, and it is very difficult to find elsewhere in Finland.

Had a very pleasant lunch, all recommendations were great and the wine and ham selection took me back to Spain. As a national, I hardly enjoy tapas outside of Spain and I felt at home here. Miguel was a very nice host and provided great service. We surely will be back 😊
