Brewery Restaurant Plevna

Very pleased with the entire experience and place. I can see that this is a place for community in the area and many people come here for the beers and atmosphere. Location is also a perfect meet up place for locals. The food is outstanding; the sausages and seasonings on the dishes were up to par. We had some house baked chocolate cake for dessert and tried the beer tasting. The beers were excellent and there was enough beer types to meet the taste buds of each individual. My personal favourite was the stout and the honey infused mead. The decor is very traditional Bavarian style and the collection of 1500 beer glasses is impressive. All facilities and the brewery inside the restaurant are great and well maintained. Great location for a family brunch, a meet up with friends or perhaps a bigger group for a special event. I would highly recommend visiting.

Wonderful ambiance and food ! We spent a lovely evening there, and the food topped it off. I personally went with the liver steaks, which were very nicely cooked, and the lingonberry jam heightened the taste just right. Much love to our waiter that night, whose name I sadly didn't catch - he was very attentive, and even made sure I had some normal vanilla ice cream alongside the tar syrup one in case I didn't like the taste (which, sadly, I did not, but it was fun to try !!)

It gets quite busy. We were there around 5.30 -6pm with reservations. We arrived slightly late, and our table was already given away. To note that even if you communicate your delay, the team may not have the time to see/ update the reservations. So be prepared to wait. Nevertheless, after a bit of waiting at the bar, the team was able to find us a table at the heated verandah area - works out well for us as we much preferred this brighter space. Excellent selection of beer. Food is heavy and rich - so you may not want to dine here if you are looking for a light dinner. Or perhaps consider the smaller serving size - cause the serving size is quite generous for food that's rather filling and rich. For reference - the stir fry in our picture is a small (recommended by the serving staff to take small - thank you very much!) and the goulash was a large serving - a rather hearty, heavy version of goulash. Food came after a decent amount of weight for a large restaurant - around 20-25 minutes. And they make sure you have your drinks early for while you wait.

Incredible place to eat typical Finnish food! It has its charm and is an incredible place, just like the food! The waitress who served us was so friendly and helpful, speaking English! I recommend it 100%! They have lactose free and gluten free meals!

We came to Plevna Brewery for dinner and it was excellent! We had the Sausage pan, Plevna’s stir-fry, and tried a black pudding sausage as a side. Everything was so good! We definitely recommend the sausage pan. The sauerkraut and potatoes that came with it were amazing. We also got two of the beer flights, so we were able to try ten different beers, and wow! We liked almost all of them! Our favorites were the Wiezenbock, the Tahti Lager, and Tumma. Overall, this was a great experience in Tampere and we highly recommend coming!
