Nice Sunset

What a great find! We stopped for lunch and a cold beverage after a few hours of trekking up and down Castle Hill. It was fantastic…my wife and I were greeted and sat at a table right on the edge of the restaurant with a great view of the Mediterranean and Nice Beach. The fish and chips were probably the best we’ve ever had. Light batter and crisp finish. The beer and margarita were cold and refreshing. We weathered a brief thunder, lightning and rain shower before enjoying a glass of Rose to finish. The staff were terrific and we highly recommend this place that I’m certain will not disappoint. Thank you!

The food is PHENOMENAL. The duck burger was cooked to perfection with all the best flavors, the sea bass tartar was incredibly fresh and truffle eggs made it the perfect pairing with some amazing cocktails. Staff were great and fast. Deserves a Michelin star in my opinion!

A lovely brunch spot and place for a glass of wine. We had a burrata sharer and a chicken caesar salad. Both were great sized portions, reasonably priced and most importantly of all delicious. It is a great spot on the seafront, we went out of season and it was still quite busy. I can imagine its would be a lovely spot in the sunshine during the summer. The staff were polite and let us take our time to enjoy our food and drinks. A place we both would recommend.

I had a solo dinner upstairs at the bar overlooking the sea and had a cocktail, scallops and wine. The servers were so lovely and friendly (young guy and girl) and i felt the most welcomed i have during this trip! The wine i was recommended was great and the scallops were delicious - in addition to the ones in top there were more inside! Absolutely great experience.

We waited for about an hour just for two dishes. When they finally arrived, the Asian dish was awful and hardly edible, although the fish and chips were good. We reported the bad taste to the waiter and were given a €3 discount. While that was a nice gesture, it didn’t make up for the upset stomach and the long waiting time. The ambience was very nice though—I liked the vibe.
