Caju Vegan

The staff team at Caju Vegan might be the friendliest people I've ever met! They were happy to recommend their favourite burger and when the seating outside was fully occupied they wheeled out an extra table and found a chair for me. It was a pleasant place to sit outside as it's on one of the quiet streets in old town. The burger and potato bread were light textured but filling. I got a brownie to take away and devoured it within seconds it was so good. The staff also gave helpful suggestions of other vegan places to try during my stay in Nice. Visit this place, try their food, give them your money! You won't regret it 😀

Fantastic little vegan burger joint! The owners are so welcoming and patient in explaining their products and helping you choose - which isn't easy because the menu offers a surprising number of different smoothies and burgers. The smoothies are really the star of the show and not to be missed. I had the 'French toast' and it was one of the best smoothies I've had in the past year. The cake also, wow, I didn't expect to get a freshly baked and still-warm ginger and carrot cake when I ordered it but I did. In spite of this - or maybe because of this - we weren't as blown away by the burger itself ('The Gardener' if I remember correctly). It was nice but slightly under seasoned. Maybe we should've added cheese, I'm not sure. Also, a shame that you cannot order fries with your burger. This didn't really take away from our otherwise flawless experience though. One more thing: There are hardly any seats, so be prepared to wait or take away your order. Highly recommended, especially if you're after a smoothie!

Amazing vegan place that serves delicious burgers with home made patties and smoothies! The owners are super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Also it is super cheap to eat here, compared to other places! All in all, a wonderful experience! Would come back to this place any time!

I am always open to try some vegan and on this hot days a good smoothie just sounded too good. The owners were welcoming and took their time to explain the menu (of which there was one in French and one in English). Even with us only being after a smoothie the choice wasn't easy as the list was just too good but we settled for two and weren't disappointed. They were both refreshing and sweet without any added sugar as with the choice of ingredients added enough sweetness to balance out any acidity the berries or other ingredients would bring with them. They offer some seating but they gladly prepare everything as takeaway. With us strolling through the city enjoying our smoothies we already talked about visiting again to try some of the burgers. As it stands I can only recommend everyone to at least try a smoothie even if it's vegan. AND we did visited again. Just before leaving the city we went there again. As promised to myself I took enough time to choose one of their really nice burgers. The list of options are really good and I bet there is something for nearly everyone out there. They even offer a menu kind of deal with a soft drink and one of their cakes as dessert. I couldn't resist and went for that and totally did not regret it. To cut it short: The burger was delicious and if I am around again I will give it another try. The cake was soft and sweet and so full of flavour that I can only hope u give it a chance even if your not a fully convinced vegan.

GO HERE! The owners are the cutest and really want to please the customers to their best ability. We got fantastic burgers with an accurate astrology reading as a bonus. Thought we were in for really sloppy and energy-heavy burgers but they were the perfect meal for this hot summer day. A fresh and filling lunch. We got to charge our phones and tips on locations for where we would continue our trip. Love this place and wish it, together with the owners, could come with us!
