A little ways away from the cruise ship port…and worth every extra step get here! Philippe was the best… 100% ask for him!!! Speaks English very well, very attentive, and knows the menu very well. The wine here, even just the table wine, is exquisite. It’s dining, but you get to immerse yourself into the French community. On a very clear, beautiful day, the outside dining is worth all the experience.
Very nice bar / restaurant. Friendly quick service. We just had a drink and tapas but the cheese board was excellent value and superb selection.. Recommended.
Very nice restaurant. You can stay very constable outside, surrounded by olive trees! The stuff were very friendly. Recommend !
We spent six nights in Marseille and this was the fifth restaurant we dined at. Chosen at random from a dozen others in the vicinity it was so good we came back for our sixth and final dinner. The staff were efficient, attentive, pleasant and personable. They added much to an already comfortable atmosphere. The first night we were outside, the second night inside. Both good. The food was outstanding. The first night we ate off the menu, Scallop and prawn polenta and the Sea Bass. Both dishes were well presented and cooked properly, the fish being brought out whole and expertly deboned at the table. The next night I had one of the specials, the lamb shank. This is one of my favorite dishes, one I like to think I cook well myself. This one I think is one of the best I have eaten. We could only manage one desert, on the first night, but it also was delicious. A puff pastry and pistachio cream creation that was a good as it looks. I would go back. And back. The true surprise was the cost. I was expecting it to be higher, having paid much more for lesser quality.
We visited on a sunny Sunday and enjoyed sitting on the terrace, which was lovely. The food was tasty overall—the aubergine carpaccio was excellent, the mozzarella sticks were standard, and the shrimp had a nice presentation but tasted similar to what you’d find elsewhere. We ordered two glasses of wine, but they weren’t very good. In summary, the place is worth visiting if you’re looking for an outdoor spot to enjoy a sunny day, and the food is generally good.
