My friend from Marseille took me to this amazing Corsican restaurant. We both loved the food and wine. Definitely try the mousse au chocolat. In comparison to other restaurants I can say the food is much more refined and the prices are incredible. The nice people working there are sweet and love to help to find the best option for you. We were a bit skeptical about the street it is in but it doesn’t affect the restaurant. The ambient is very that one good smaller town restaurant. It’s a vibe. Go and enjoy.
Last night dinner with my partner. This lovely little restaurant had the intimacy/atmosphere missing from the mass dining at the Old Port. Delicious steak for myself and the aubergine dish for my partner which she loved. Nice wine list, friendly service and a lovely setting. Highly recommend if you’re in Marseille.
It was a delightful experience dining at this establishment. I really enjoyed the food. The flavour profiles were quite unique and tasty. The restaurant was also quite spacious so I didn't feel crowded at all which was a plus. It was nice to dine in the dim lighting with the interior decorations which made the place look quite fancy. The waiters were pleasant, they were all welcoming, easy to talk to and were always smiling which improved the dining experience. However, I feel like they were a bit understaffed. The waiter took a good 15-20 minutes before he came back to take our order and it took a good 30-45 minutes before we received our food after we ordered. I understand that we are a rather large group which requires a bit more time, but I feel like they were a bit too unprepared for larger groups. The portions were pretty reasonable for the prices. Each appetiser was 11 euro and the main courses were 23 euro which is a fair price. I do feel like the shrimps were a bit underwhelming though, only 4 shrimps for 11 euro is a bit little.
This restaurant is in a neighborhood where you normally would not go as a tourist. But you should! This was, by far, the best meal of our three days in Marseille. Everything was so good! The wine, the appetizers, the entrees and the desserts. Service was very friendly. Ambiance was also wonderful.
We visited Marseilles in 2022 and found this restaurant by searching on google for restaurant nearby our hotel. It was a small restaurant, but it was a hidden gem in Marseille! Their menu was artistically written on blackboard with white chalk and their kind staff explained and recommended dishes in English. We tried appetizer and steak and ordered a bottle of red wine and it was all delicious! The service was friendly and very helpful made us feel so welcomed. We had dinner upstairs dining area with small garden, cute lighting and candles. Great ambiance for dinner. They only have limited seating area, reservation is encouraged.
