Mauvaise Herbe - Bistrot Café Végétal Marseille

Wow ! Just Wow ! Living in France and being vegan is not something I’ve found easy over the last 10 years - This amazing restaurant surpasses any meal I’ve had in France ! Ever ! The welcome was outstanding and so friendly and the food !!! The best ever !! We popped in for brunch and we (my husband is not vegan !) were blown away. I wish we lived closer or I would be there eating most days !! You HAVE to visit … vegan or not ! Ps - The best bathroom I’ve ever visited in a restaurant 😉

Amazing restaurant. Everything is fresh and locally produced. For me, being a vegan for 9 years, it's sometimes difficult to find restaurants where they know what they're doing, but Mauvaise Herbe was one of the best ever!! I'll recommend this place to anyone - vegan or otherwise.

What a finding! We had our first lunch in Marseille at this place, such a great start!! From the cold soup with delicious bread, the past filled with aubergine to the strawberry desert…The staff, the food and the atmosphere are amazing. The food is fresh and has quite creative names, not the typical vegan, thats beyond that. The daily menu is a great choice from starter to desert, its a delicious discovery with local products. You guys are doing it great and different from every other vegan in the city! Keep going —— Second time: we visited Marseille again a few months later and had to stop by for another delicious meal! It doesn’t disappoint, fresh quality, friendly staff and creative cuisine. We had a cucumber mint gaspacho (fresh!!), the aubergine, and a zucchini with vegan ricotta 🌱🥒. The desert was a pavlova with peach, super fresh and velvet flavour. delicious!!! Merci beaucoup ✨

I had only a few hours in the city and I’m really glad I spent some time at Mauvaise Herbe. The staff was very friendly and the food delicious. Highly recommended.

Very cute and cozy place with a lot of vegan choices. Tasted great and fresh. Amazing service as well (thanks for the tips on visiting the Calanques). Recommend!
