Au Bout du Quai in Marseille is a delightful surprise located at the Vieux Port in Marseille. Despite its tourist-heavy location, this restaurant is anything but a tourist trap. The cuisine is fantastic, with a sophisticated menu that focuses on fish. The veal and mussel tartare was outstanding, as was the fish fillet. The service was friendly and efficient, and the wine was very good. At around β¬50 per person (including wine but without dessert), the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!
This was not just a dinner. Every bite was an experience. Everything about this place is just amazing. The people working here are wonderfully pleasant and friendly, the space itself is beautiful, the choice of music is on point, and the food is just perfect. We enjoyed every moment. If I could, I would spend the whole night here just eating and enjoying the atmosphere. π
Absolutely loved the place. The food is great, tasty and well served. The girls of the staff are kind and always ready to accommodate any request with a smile. The prices are reasonable considering the food quality and portions. Highly recommend cuttlefish and the ceviche. Special mention goes to the dessert (the panna cotta was very good)! Will definitely come back! We paid 108 euros for two entrΓ©es, one main dish, two glasses of wine and two desserts.
Lovely spot for lunch! After a 2.5 hour long walking tour, we were in desperate search for a spot to rest our feet and stumbled upon this gem. The quality and taste of the food completely blew me away. Not to mention the attentive service and great ambiance.
2 glass of wine, squid with salad and a bouillabaisse. The squid with salad is good, fresh and good taste. The bouillabaisse is a bit disappointing as the fish is not so good and they are just warm. However, the seafood stock that poured over was good with intense seafood taste. The staffs are very nice and in good environment, just by the water of the port. The wine 8 euro per glass is rather expensive for its average quality and small pour.
