A little expensive especially when half of the main courses on the menu require a supplement but quantity is very satisfying. The soup came in a huge bowl but we were not fans of the soup, tasted just like beef broth to us and felt like there was something lacking. Salad was great, very well prepared. We got the magret canard which was also tasty, and very tender meat but also lacked a bit of sauce somewhere? The desserts were decent. They also have a good selection of wine though we didn't order any but should be heaven for wine lovers. Overall satisfied but probably would not return since the menu doesn't seem to change. The restaurant was also very hot and stuffy and didn't make eating very enjoyable.
Small but beautiful place. Food is good and the quantities huge. Very friendly staff. I ordered duck but it wasn’t medium-rare as I’ve asked and I have to return it to be cooked again. Any way the duck meat was not tender . In spite of this I recommend this restaurant. Please book before
Unique meal : Starter, main course, dessert You can choose the main course and dessert. Very copious and tasty. I recommend a long walk before to sharp hunger and after to ease the digestion :) Wine (paulilles for us) was very good.
The pros : excellent value for money , original concept with single menu and price determined only by the choice of main course. Good and attentive service. Wide selection of regional wines and interesting cocktails. The cons : original selection of Armagnac for after dinner, but no old vintages available
Wow. The name says it all. Typical food, they tell you what is available. The soup terrine comes to your table and you help yourself. Ample portions in real homemade quality. Amazing.
