An extraordinary experience. The food at Hortùs was exquisite with fresh produces and very refined flavors. Each dish had its unique identity and the chief attention to detail was remarkable. We went there for dinner and opted for the 5-dishes menu which was a true delicacy: Homemade brioche with seeds and refined oils for starter, a mousse inspired by pissaladière as first starter, a declination of 4 seasons of tomatoes as second and a magnification of local zucchini for third. The main dish was maybe the least special, although still very flavorful (truite or egg parfait). The dessert: turned around abricot was also perfectly balanced. On top of that the team was very friendly and attentive to detail. In short, we will definitely come back
Beautiful little restaurant, lovely decor, friendly discreet service. The food was excellent, absolutely delicious and the flavours were extraordinary. Our first visit and I'm sure it won't be our last.
Delicious tasting menu with innovative dishes. Michelin star level cuisine. The service was polite and informative. Would happily return
What a wonderful experience! Amazing food, well presented and beautifully served. Very considerate too, with the chef modifying some of the dishes to deal with my allergies. Everything I ate was delicious, but the sardines and cheese soufflé were outstanding! Highly recommended.
This little gem in the heart of Toulouse will please your taste buds for either lunch or dinner. The food is just fantastic, so elaborated, elegant, delicate, cooking on point, mix of colors and seasonal produces inspired by the South of France Gastronomy from West to East. Don't be scared of the size of the plate, the menu is designed for the guest to be the right amount of full by the end. I have a big appetite and I was full. Don't skip the Cheese course reinvented by Chef Clément Lessoud, even to share or you might regret it 😊 Chef is inventive and kindly accomodated my severe Lactose intolerance as I mentioned it on my reservation a few days prior. This is to me Michelin Star level, but fairly priced and less pretencious. "Reservation only" allowing the Chef to avoid waste. We'll be back! What a treat!
