A very charming place with great food. We parked nearby and were looking for a late brunch place - saw the reviews and decided to give it chance: and it completely met our expectations! Friendly waitress who spoke English (as tourists we always appreciate it), beautiful cutlery, but, most importantly, the food: I tried the omelette with truffle sause that was juicy and the eggs had fluffy texture, and my friend had a sandwich with fresh meat, as dessert we chose a blueberry muffin in the vanilla sauce. We will be glad to come back!
This place is an absolute gem, you will not see in the guides, because it’s new, but it’s an amazing place. The food, the atmosphere the people.. it’s an oasis, especially in the hot summer days. The food is exceptional, the menu is small, but everything is well picked. Whatever you decide is going to be great, but make shore to have one (or more) bowls of gougères, try the hashbrown, also the burger, or the big combo breakfast!
I’ve visited this café twice and enjoyed different experiences each time. On my first visit, the owner (I guess) was warm and welcoming. I ordered two cappuccinos along with hummus and cheese sticks, and then pancakes, and everything was tasty. My friend and I also appreciated being able to work there for several hours, which made it a comfortable and inviting spot for both enjoying good food and getting things done. During my second visit, the owner—still polite but a bit firm—let us know that laptops weren’t allowed, even if we ordered food. She explained it was because August brings many tourists. While I understand the need to manage space, I was a little surprised, as Toulouse is generally quite calm in August. The exchange felt slightly abrupt, and we decided to leave afterward. As someone who often works from cafés, I see this as a missed opportunity. Customers like me tend to eat, drink, and spend regularly, and can become loyal supporters. Perhaps a balanced approach—such as designating certain tables for laptop use—could allow the café to welcome both tourists and local regulars. In the long run, it’s the regulars who help sustain the business year-round.
Food was just amazing!! It was a breakfast to remember! Nice to come in a place and see staff smiling and ready to serve you! Thank you Camille”s!
The restaurant is nicely decorated, the food is delicious, and the owners are friendly. I had the pancakes and my friend had the mushroom omelette, we were both talking about how good breakfast was for the rest of the day! Merci Camille et Camille!
