The service was excellent, as was the wine and the presentation of the food. It’s a very calm interior, there's pretty much no atmosphere, it’s all the food and what’s happening at your table. Good or bad you decide. Half of the menu was some of the best food I’ve ever had - the leek dish incredible. The main was very good. The artichoke dish I felt was heavily overpowered by the buckwheat. Overall great experience, would return.
Our food was fantastic, our server made our experience very fun and memorable. We felt very welcomed. Enjoyed their “secret menu” perfectly paired with three regional wines. Excellent presentation and exceptional flavors course after course. I wish all the best to the owners! You can definitely taste and see the love and passion they put into every dish. I will for sure recommend this restaurant! We will be back!
Everything was so good and the service amazing. It’s a surprise what they bring— and a very good one. I like the blue lobster the best but 5 small dishes. All amazing!! Bravo!
Loved this place. It was calm and cool after a long and very hot day. The food was exceptional, every dish thought through so carefully for flavour and texture. They managed my food restriction without fuss.
I hesitate to leave a review because I enjoyed great service from the crew. However, I think more thoughts could be given into the harmony of each dish, different flavors might be too contrasting and not complementary e.g. berry jam and bisque was too sharp and masked the taste of other elements. Oil felt stale for fried fish. I understand that the chef tried to incorporate Japanese style of cooking but since I am highly familiar with Japanese flavors, skills seem to be lacking for fine details. For the price point, I was hoping for more refined cooking and better executed dishes.
