Mama Restaurant Bordeaux

Visited after a day in Saint-Emilion and wanted something near our hotel without going downtown. When we sat down, I was a little skeptical as to what the experience would be like. I’m not sure how French would classify this restaurant in terms of cuisine but the food was good! Ordered the marinated sliced roast beef which had amazing flavor (this was served cold) and was described perfectly by our server Valentine as a dish you’d have with Sunday leftovers. The other dish was the Miso eggplant which was also enjoyed. I really enjoyed this spot.

Our first time in Bordeaux. Staying at Mama Shelter. Room was not ready so we had a beautiful lunch at the rooftop. Thanks to Julia for her kind & friendly service. We truly enjoyed our food.

Great views of Bordeaux, very good service was good food( not entirely French though!) We enjoyed our time and would recommend it for the views and atmosphere.

Reservation via online booking. Have to enter card details for €10 cancellation. When we were brought to our table, we were not told to scan the menu via their qr code. Ordered duck parmentier ( the mash was great, duck was alright ) & Sirloin steak Aberdeen ( medium - came more towards well done from picture, meat was chewy, sauce was bland, fries were nice). Tables were pretty close, so some trouble getting in and out.

10/10. Delicious food, super nice staff, cool interior, spacious and comfy. And fully accessible ♿️!
