Lovely lunch sitting outside the market watching the world go by. Extremely reasonable in price. You can get 6 oysters and a wine for €11. The oysters were devine, fresh & plump. The fish soup was super tasty. The prawns have previously been frozen but they were still good. Charcuterie board was also really good. House wine perfectly quaffable. All in all very good and an authentic experience, majority of people there were French so always a good sign.
Another of my 'people watching' go to's... After walking through the meat, fish, bread, fresh fruit and bread, and all the other wonderful stalls, quite an appetite can be built up... This is the place to slake it! Fresh seafood platter, great wine.... nothing to moan about... just get there early if you want a table without waiting!!
Definitely not a fancy place but that's what we liked about it. Felt very much like a locals place with fast, inexpensive simply good and fresh oysters. I mean 6 oysters and a small glass of wine for 10€ what more could you want?
“Delicious and fresh seafood served without any unnecessary fuss – everything is simple and feels like home. The price is 19 euros for the seafood and 7 euros for two glasses of wine. A perfect spot to enjoy great food and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere.”
IG: @melvineatet $(15-20 eur per pax) Amazing freshness and taste from the oysters and shrimps. Oysters were briney and tasted like the ocean while prawns were so sweet. Fish soup was a little too salty and strong for us. Overall very good value for fresh and good seafood
