Maison Moly

We had our favorite meal of our trip at Maison Moly! We ordered the tuna tartare, baked foie gras, and the duck. Each dish was better than the last! Our service was very good and while we were the only ones in the restaurant at the start of our meal, it very quickly filled up with other guests. We appreciated that it was not in the hubbub of all the touristy areas. Highly recommend this place if you are in Lyon!

Wow… this is a must try when in Lyon! I booked reservations last minute & they were able to accommodate my family. Skip the busy tourist restaurants nearby & enjoy a meal at this hidden gem. The moment we walked in, the staff was so welcoming & kind. The food was fantastic! My mom enjoyed the meal so much that she said “this has to be the best meal I’ve ever had”. I couldn’t believe it! Every detail was thoughtful and curated. They paired our wines with our main courses, portioned out the plates between everyone, and every detail on the food was considered– taste, texture, sight– it was all perfection. I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars! They deserve a Michelin star!

10 stars restaurant! Such an excellent address for celebrating loved one’s occasions. We came here for my sister’s birthday and we had a blast. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. The food was excellent. Each dish talked a thousand words with their ingredients freshness and flavor’s delicacy. Definitely coming back here for my hazelnut Mille feuille.

We went to Moly in the evening and had the surprise menu. Our favorite was the confit duck. The wine selection, service and ambience were wonderful. Definitely worth a visit!

The best meal of our trip to Lyon was at Maison Moly and that’s saying something given we explored many restaurants during our time in the culinary capital of France. The discovery menu was superb, taking us on a real adventure of flavours, textures, and colours. It was kind of the restaurant to be so flexible as to allow the adults to select the discovery menu and to make kids’ meals for our children. Leave room for dessert because it was so good that our children stole them off us.
