Like An Elephant

We visited Like An Elephant last night following recommendations on various websites. It lived to to expectations! Firstly, and importantly, the people running the place were lovely. Really friendly and helpful. The food was creative (buckwheat ice-cream and brioche! Potato starch meringue!) and full of seasonal flavours (pea ragout). Fully vegan. We had a local white wine with the meal.

One of the highlights of our visit to Lyon was our dinner at Like An Elephant. Fantastic food, unique flavors, and the friendliest staff you could ever ask for. We also brought our little dog, and she was taken such good care of that I think she wanted to stay there rather than come home with us 😄 Highly recommended, if you have a friend that thinks vegan food has to be boring, bring them here and blow their little minds 😄

We found this vegan restaurant in the Croix-Rousse and we loved it!! The dishes were very tastfull and original! We really recommend this place to everybody who looks for vegan food not only as a climatwise alternative for meat and dairyproducts but as a fantastic food experience in its own!

Most the food was nice however the beetroot plate was terrible as a dish. It felt like just cubes of beetroot plated up. However that said the other dishes were lovely.
