Canaima Restaurant

We had dinner at Canaima and it was enjoyable. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance was inviting and cozy. The only reason why I removed one star was because of the very limited selection of the menu. We were there on Saturday and for the set menu of 42 euros per person, there were only 3 options each for three courses. It felt a bit limited and the menu was similar to what we've seen at other restaurants in Lyon.

It was a real pleasure to eat at this restaurant. The service was fantastic and the food gave us so many amazing flavors. That the chef himself came out of the kitchen and took a minute to meet everyone was very nice. One of the best culinary experiences we’ve had in Lyon. Surely will be back to Canaima next time we are in town.

The food was delicious and my wife is pregnant so the chef came out and explained the menu to us & did a couple of the dishes differently so that she could enjoy it too. Top class service.

We had an incredible experience here! The cozy atmosphere. The staff were super helpful and attentive even the chef himself visited our table couple of times with jokes adding a personal touch to the already great service. The cocktails were absolutely amazing complex and flavorful in every sip. The food was equally impressive, with good-quality ingredients and good portion sizes. Every dish was flavorfull for it’s price and well presented.

Some of the best food I had in whole week I was in France. Amazing food and flavours and excellent cocktails ! Highly recommend
