Didon was our absolute favorite meal during our week in Paris. This restaurant was recommended by our family and we were looking forward to this meal all week. It sure did not disappoint. From the wine, pastrami appetizer (we’re from New York and this was truly delicious and unique) to main course and dessert every bite was delicious. The meats really shined as we enjoyed lamb chops and rib eye with sides of fries and charred greens. Always room for dessert (even though we could barely eat another bite) do not skip the chocolate and raspberry sorbet was delightful. The service was top notch as our server Pascal made sure we were celebrated as this was during our honeymoon and really made us feel special during the entire meal. We will absolutely be back in Paris just to visit Didon again. This restaurant is truly a find.
Just an excellent experience. Every dish was incredible, the service was attentive yet gave you space to enjoy your meal and the ambiance was super relaxing and chic. The servers and chef were very aware of allergies and were very helpful to choose the right meals and know what could be adapted
Cozy restaurant with quiet atmosphere and great service. Several vegetarian options. I would describe the food as modern. All of the dishes were interesting in appearance, texture, and flavor, but I personally didn't love the food. I suspect I would have enjoyed their fall menu more. Several dishes were presented with unique finishes at the table. Overall, worth it.
I personally loved the sea bream and steak (don’t really remember the name). They were well cooked and had a special flavor that was unexpected but delicious. However the taco surf and turf and the strawberry dessert (the waiter recommended) was really a bit of a disappointment. The taco was less of a disappointment, it was fine but it’d be better if the beef and shrimps could less seasoned. The taco was also not as chewy and fulfilling as I expected. But the worst is really the strawberry dessert (pic 3). I actually don’t even know what the other things were. The main ingredient was a veggie (smth like a celery?) and it was soft and sour with the vinegar and the cinnamon granola crumbs. The strawberry was probably the only thing that was edible to me. But I’m a foreigner so it could be that it’s a really French taste? But rest assured the service and most foods are great and delicious. Maybe go for chocolate for the dessert (always a safe option)
Intimate restaurant. Very small w open kitchen. Great wine selection with helpful staff. Pastrami appetizer best taste of the night! Artichoke good too. Lamb rack very fatty but delicious flavors. Pork entree ok.
