Great beer garden. The food is good and not generic, the meat is often organic or raised humanely, and the staff is nice too, despite their workload. It's a little expensive but so are most beer gardens with worse food. Drinks are a nice selection too.
Lovely beer garden in a central location. We came here with our kids some years ago. I'm glad to have found it again. I had vegetable soup, which was very delicious. I didn't try the desserts but they sure looked yummy.
This is a German beer garden as we can imagine it. Heaps of people tonight... it was completely full. The food is quickly served and well done. It is typical beer garden food, simple and filling. The beer is excellent... I took the weissbeer. The service is very friendly and open to conversation. The outside atmosphere is outstanding and worth the visit in itself. Enjoy
Food is fantastic, with really exceptional portions as well. Wide selection of beer and the apfelschorle is excellent! There is a very large assortment of tables, but if you're a larger group definitely send someone to find a table a half hour before your party arrives. Delicious!
I didn’t order food so I can’t say. The beer, I don’t know what it is with German beer but man it’s strong. I can handle my liquor just fine mind you, but the tasty beer here, it’s awesome. You’ll feel real good real fast. There’s plenty of seats but as of this visit, it was on a Tuesday afternoon so I’m sure it’ll be crowded during rush hour. Friendly staff, great beer selection, awesome location next to the water and zoo for the scenery. Got here on foot, there’s no parking lot so plan accordingly.
