Samui Thai Cuisine

We lived in South East Asia for 21 years and it has been a challenge to find authentic Thai food in Germany. This is our 2nd time returning to Samui Thai cuisine and it didn’t disappoint. We went for the Tom Yam Soup, Somtam, and grilled prawns. Amazing authentic flavors. The prawns were grilled to perfection with an authentic charcoal grilled flavor to it. Definitely ask for the authentic menu when there. They have dishes that are usually hard to get. Like raw prawns. We’ll be back!

Amazing service and amazing food! Real authentic Thai food in the heart of Hamburg. I always set a high bench mark on Thai food, reason being I’ve live in Thailand in the past knowing what’s good when comes to Thai food. Samui Thai certain up on the list. Service was great and fast although the restaurant was packed! Will always remember Samui Thai next time I visit Hamburg.

Food was amazing, ambiance was good. Better to book a seat before you go, we was going without reservation although it's not very busy and have some free seats staff hurry us to eat and gave only 1 hour to stay but we had a great dinner and definitely would come back again

One of the best places to have a casual dinner in Hamburg. Amazing service, even though some of the servers did not speak in English very well, they tried and made sure that there was no awkwardness. Food is really good, really authentic! Very nice vibe to the place as well. Highly recommended!

Booked the restaurant one week earlier and we went on the Sunday night. Restaurant was busy and the service wasn't great, some of the waiters and waitress also not very friendly. Food served was alright, they do have another menu for some other Thai Food. They served the food but they don't provide us cutlery and plate. Tom Yam soup and the fish dish are nicely done. The mango sticky rice is very disappointing, the rice is overcooked soft and blend taste of the mango. Also the Thai Iced Tea, it was way too sweet and not anything closed to the Thai Iced Tea we had in Thailand. Overall, the price is way above the quality and service they provided.
