Xiao Long Kan 杜塞小龙坎

Great surprise. Parking: not easy to park in the street, so I recommend going to a paid parking. It is in the little Tokyo neighborhood, easy access by tram, bus or walking distance from the center. Service: excellent. All the waitresses were helpful, friendly and English speaking. Accommodating and willing to explain whatever was needed. You can order via the tablet. Very easy and intuitive. Otherwise, the staff will do it for you. Atmosphere: beautifully decorated. From the outside, you would not guess that it is a nice, cozy restaurant. Food: amazing. You order a soup, which would be the base of your made - customized hot pot. You could choose one, two or three different soup flavours. From mushroom, bones, spicy, etc. Afterwards, other ingredients (which will go in the soup), can be ordered. They have many sauces to choose from. You can mix ingredients for those sauces; making your own chili oil, ginger sesame sauce... The dim sum was absolutely fantastic. The egg fried rice as well. Everything was fresh and with the right good quality. I'm impressed by this place. It deserves the rating and the fame. My advise is to call and reserve, since it is normally full.

It was my first time having a Chinese hot pot and what an experience! The place is super nicely decorated, the very friendly staff explained nicely. You order on the tablet your broth (up to 3 different ones) and then get all the things you want to cook in it, from a large selection of meat, seafood and many vegetable and vegetarian options (tofu, rice cake, etc.). They have an amazing "make your own dip sauce" bar, with some examples in case you lack inspiration. Love it. Bonus: a bunch of cute cat robots sometimes bring to the dishes and can sing you happy birthday song 😁

Very nice hot pot place! It is not all you can eat, but maybe that is also why you will appreciate every dish that you select even more! Had a very nice station where you can mix you own dipping sauce and the soups were soooooo nice!! Service was also very quick to refill the soup if it began to deplete. Noodles were really delicious together with the soup. The homemade lemonade was very nice (see pictures), and the shaved ice desert was an absolute must have finisher!! Very nice place and will absolutely go again!! 10/10 heerlie de peerlie!

We have been here so many times, can’t believe I have not written any review yet. The spicy pot is just the best that I can have it everyday. The hand pulled noodle is so chewy and the soup flavor can be fully soaked to it. All tofu products were also our favorite besides lamb meet. The grape 🍇 fruit tee is also very recommended.

This is quite good Chinese restaurant in Düsseldorf. As me, a one who loves to eat vegetables too much, this place is perfect place for me where ordering hot pot with various kind of topping. The taste is similar taste that I eat Chinese food in Vietnam, eating hot pot in a cold weather is great. Good atmosphere, good service and strong wine with very tiny glass.
