Kasematten Düsseldorf

We visited this place with friends and spent a few enjoyable hours there. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and we ordered a variety of dishes to try. Everything we had was tasty, and the overall vibe made it a great spot to hang out and catch up. That said, one thing to note is that service can be a bit slow. The waiters seemed very busy and at times not very attentive, so it took longer than expected to place our order. It wasn’t a big issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a rush. Also, during checkout, we noticed that some bills were sometimes rounded up — likely as a tip. While we understand and appreciate tipping for good service, it would have felt better if they had waited to let us decide how much to tip, rather than rounding automatically. It’s always nicer when customers are given the choice.

The Pizza was delicious and the drinks really well priced! Staff very attentive and the atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon was great! They are cash only so make sure you don’t get caught out! Also the Wasps in the summer can be a problem!

Forced to have lunch by severe rain. Quite nice restaurant. Service was not as expected but they managed the unexpected crowd somehow. Hope to visit again in a nicer weather

Food - excellent! Came with familly, everyone enjoyed their food. My beef steak (argentinian) was perfectly done and perfectly seasoned. Portions are big and really tasty. Service was also great (waiter from Serbia), prices are fine and view to the Rhine is top! Overall atmosphere was very relaxing and nice. I would recommend this place and I will visit again on my next trip to Düsseldorf, deffinetly worth! Payment only by cash, but there is a ATM (within restaurant) so it's not a big deal.
