⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Restaurant maiBeck 📍 Cologne, Germany The food at maiBeck features some interesting preparation techniques, with a blend of European foundations and subtle Asian influences. While the concept is creative, the execution felt somewhat underwhelming. Overall, the experience was average. Dishes were decent but lacked the kind of standout flavors or finesse that would leave a lasting impression. Service and ambiance were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. A respectable effort, but nothing compelling enough to make me want to return.

However, the team could do me a few favors that would make me feel more comfortable there: Please ban all pets (yes, even the cute little ones) from the dining room and ask your smoking guests not to linger near the restaurant's windows when they go outside to smoke.

Enjoyed the winter salad and Icelandic cod. The wine choice by glass could be better. Michelin style service. Good place to dine before a concert at the Philharmonia nearby. Reservation required.

Excellent, down to earth, no-frills food made from the best ingredients. Service was casual yet professional and friendly. Very good value for what you pay.

Fantastic food and service. I’m gluten free and only speak English so not easy but they dealt with me perfectly. The food was delicious
