Seafood was amazing and I know seafood - my father owned a seafood restaurant in LA for 30 years. The chef provided a personalized experience - sending us his favorites. Wine selection also top notch! Will come back and also a great place to conduct and close business.

My boyfriend and I went out for a nice dinner at this restaurant while on a trip to Cologne. The whole night, we got to enjoy delicious fish meald and appetizers, served by the kindest waiters and waitresses who were genuinely passionate about their job and happy to help us. We’ve never had fish this delicious before, and if we ever visit Cologne again we will be sure to come back! Amazing restaurant, no notes.

Since many years on each of my visits to Koln POISSON became a must! The food, the finely curated wine list and the delicate service are just amazing! The presence and personality of the owner are the icing on the cake for a perfect evening

Poisson in Köln, well that was a score! This city has sooo many options to chose from, its hard to decide. Especially when you are there just for 2 nights. So for lunch we opted for a meal at Poisson. Smack bang in the middle of Köln, near all the shops, with covered parking next door. We started with an apero, which came with a tasty treat from the open kitchen. On to chose wine (how can any meal go wrong with a Meursault) and some very fresh oysters to go with it. Good start with very attentive and friendly service. Onwards and upwards we decide to share some dishes in the middle. Gamba to begin with and we loved the garlic and chili; subtle but there. Followed by the calamaretti and this is how you want it..... moist, well seasoned and enough juices to mop up with the lovely bread! For the finale the fish curry, reccomended by our server as their favorite dish. We would travel here againjust for this curry, beautiful pieces of tender fish and just the right "wow" as an aftertaste. As the service was so fab, they devided the portion in 2 smaller bowls as we were sharing our portions. Lovely steamed rice to go along. Dessert was a well executed creme brulee. Worth your trip. Having been from Vendôme (2*) to a local Greek retaurant, Possion is now on our go to list and worth your time in our opinion.

This place was recommended by some local friends. We were a bit disappointed. Food is average in my opinion and expensive for what you get. Service was okay and the ambience is nice although tables are quite close to each other. Been there, done that, no need to go again.
