Great Little restaurant, where you get the impression that the food is still prepared with some real personal attention. Inside seems quite chaotic, but that’s probably par for the course for most Omas/grannies.
You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors — and outdoors is definitely the better option if the weather allows. The traditional dishes are tasty and well-prepared. One staff member could have shown a bit more kindness to make the experience even better, like the others who were friendly and attentive.
Loved the food, service was not too bad, but the toilet really, really needs sprucing up.
I found this place looking for schnitzel since it was 1 min from my hotel. It was quiet for a weeknight. My server was Melis who took great care of me during my visit. Schnitzel was prepared excellent and the mushroom gravy was yummy. It all came with potatoes and a salad for a reasonable price. Very near the Dom too.
A lovely meal at a lovely restaurant. Our waiter was so kind and accommodating to the fact we didn’t speak German. He knew English very well and recommended many items on the menu for us to eat. The mushroom sauced shnitzel was absolutely perfect. Not oily, pork was so well seasoned and the crumb outer layer was perfectly fried. My partner had the sausage meal and loved the fried potatoes and sauerkraut it came with. 10/10 in conclusion, a very welcoming and well decorated restaurant.
