Hempies - veganes Bistro

Incredible vegan food! We were in Cologne for 3 days. Day 1 we visited for lunch, the croissants were amazing and the lavender cappuccino was delicious. Day 2, we went back again, for more food and coffee. Day 3, on our 4 year vegan anniversary, we had take away and sat next to the river. The 'not egg' was a wonderfully emotional treat as I felt I could enjoy the egg flavours without any cruelty. Food is all reasonably priced and the service was brill. Thank you so much for the food and drinks Hempies. If we visit again, we will be back.

Amazing vegan café. Perfect for brunch with loads of sweet and savoury options. The pesto mozzarella sandwich and brownies were both rich in flavour. Would go again.

I went there starving on a Sunday and tasted their “flammkuchen” sandwich and their chocolate croissant. Both were amazing. I paid 12€ in total for all of this & a coffee, super good value for money. The place is super cute and the staff was friendly

Very nice place, very good coffee and sandwiches. (Browny was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I ate it all 😅) The waitress (in the pic) is one of the best I have ever seen. Fast, professional, passionate, paying attention to details and very friendly.
