So delicious. The "Brooklyn" pastrami was like Montréal Smoked Meat (so tender and flavorful), and the various dips were awesome. He also gave us a taster of dessert hummus. The Dark Chocolate one was amazing. We didn't try the Espresso one, but the third was also awesome !!

Tel Aviv Street Food might seem out of place in Frankfurt’s Kleinmarkthalle (filled mostly with German and Italian food vendors), but Just a Dip pays tribute to local flavors with its Frankfurt plate, made with creamy Israeli hummus topped with arugula, a hard-boiled egg, chopped avocado, pickles, spicy zhoug, and most creatively, Israeli salad (chopped cucumbers/tomatoes) mixed with Frankfurt green sauce (sour cream mixed with 7 chopped herbs)! The green sauce was a surprisingly good (and creative) complement to the Israeli salad, adding a creaminess and herbaceousness that brought the crunchy vegetables together. The plate was served with a side of super fluffy pita bread, which was perfect for wiping up the creamy, tahini-rich hummus!

I ordered the Brooklyn pita for takeaway; the flavours are well balanced, complimenting each other, the sauerkraut was perfect, not overly full of salt and vinegar, and the pastrami was some of the best I’ve tasted. Sauces and pickles are also nicely made. The pita bread is something else and is very nice. A tub of super smooth hummus again, nice flavour, well made, and the best I’ve had in Germany. Lastly, the lemonade was very nice and refreshing. Credit goes to the owners and workers for offering an alternative style of food of good quality and value.

Kind staff serving you a plate of nice creamy hummus with a lot of vegetables, the portion of hummus is totally filling, might find it pricy, but this is a general issue eating or buying stuff at Kleinmarkthalle, it is of very good quality as it tastes and looks like. If you compare the price for hummus takeaway to an outside hummus place with comparable or even better hummus, the price is for a small portion 35% higher. I was here for lunch and had a vegan plate. Gluten free bread was not an option, but the normal pita looked yummy and you can extra avocado or egg to make it even more filling.

Best food in Frankfurt. Grab yourself a TELAVIV sandwich and take it however they recommend. Truly beautiful combinations in every bite. The pita alone is delicious and even feels good holding it in your hands. There’s nothing like it
