We ordered the Khoresh Gheymeh and Chelo Kabab Shishlik Soltani (a combination of lamb chops and fillet kebab) at Kish Restaurant. The portion sizes were very generous, and the taste of the kebab was truly excellent. The Gheymeh, however, was a bit different in flavor compared to classic Iranians cuisine. As a complimentary appetizer, they brought us bread, cheese, herbs, and soup, which we really enjoyed! The bread served with our meal was very fresh and soft, and it seemed to be homemade. For after our meal, we ordered saffron tea, which was served with delicious halva. The waiters were very good and provided excellent service, although it was a bit interesting that each one spoke a different language to us. The restaurant's atmosphere felt a bit too crowded and full of decorations to me. The interior design seems to be inspired by the Golestan Palace in Iran from the Qajar era, as there were pictures of Qajar kings all over the restaurant.
Everything was great — I can just say wow! The decoration, the food, and the service were all amazing. We only ordered the dish of the day, but they first served us bread and cheese, followed by Ash Reshte while we waited for our main plates. Everything was incredibly delicious and flavorful — the food reminded me of Iran. After the meal, they even brought us tea and dessert as a thank-you. We tried four different dishes, and all of them were 10/10. I highly recommend this place — it should be the first restaurant you visit in Frankfurt! I promise you’ll taste some of the best food of your life. Enjoy!
I had the pleasure of dining at this Persian restaurant in Frankfurt, and I must say, it was one of the best Persian restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment you step inside, you feel like you’ve been transported to a beautiful, traditional restaurant in Iran. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of Persian culture. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of rich, authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and served in generous portions. Whether you’re a fan of juicy kebabs, flavorful stews, or fragrant saffron rice, you’re in for a treat. The quality and taste exceeded my expectations, making it a truly memorable meal. The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming. They were very responsive to our requests and treated us with great respect, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their attentiveness and friendly attitude truly stood out. The only downside was the price, which was on the higher side, and the fact that they only accept cash. This can be inconvenient, especially if you’re dining with a group, as you’ll need to have a large amount of cash on hand. However, despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Persian dining experience in Frankfurt. It’s definitely worth a visit!
Nice atmosphere, nice design. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The waiting time to get food took a little longer, I think about thirteen minutes, this is because they are always busy. Honestly, I expected more delicious Persian food in this location…
I think I had the best meal of my life, for real. Me and my girlfriend, who is Persian, went there and the service was amazing!!! We ordered A LOT of food, specially Kashk bademjan (a starter made of smoked eggplant and fermented yogurt on top, among other things) and Djudje Kebab (a main dish, which is really well served chicken kebab). For dessert they gave us a saffron ice cream, which was PERFECT. The Kashk bademjan was so good, we had to come back in the next day to eat it again rsrsrs The environment and the service are also very good, following Iran’s food traditions and culture!
