It was an amazing place to eat pork knuckle. I suggest you to eat it with the sauerkraut! And AJ was a great host!
This restaurant is not your ordinary restaurant, it has two floor worth of pig museum above the restaurant! I highly recommend to first take the tour (6.9 Euro) before having lunch/dinner if you haven’t done it. I have ordered the pork medallion, although pricey but it was worth it and fantastic! The pork medallion was cooked medium instead of well done which made the meat very juicy and easy to chew. The pork medallion was paired with mushroom sauce which blends well with the pork and very tasty. Next they have a self made crumb which was toasted with salt and pepper then sprinkled on top of the spatzle (egg noodles). The crumbs works very well with the spatzle. Lastly, the staff is very nice. 5/5 highly recommend the pork medallion!
Good traditional food. nice place to eat out. I think it would be a good and quiet place to eat out with your family. Really nice and friendly service.
Food was good. We ordered Pork Burger, Grilled Lachs Fillet, Cheese Noodles. All the food were decent and nicely served. The waiting time is bit on the higher side. Otherwise the quality and taste of the foods are pretty good. Ambience too is good and apt place for get together of friends or families.
Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. The Haxe (grilled pork knuckle) looked amazing 😍. Had the traditional maultaschen (large pasta packets filled with meat) - very tasty. There is a interesting pug museum on site.
