We had a truly delightful experience at this German restaurant in the heart of Munich. Every plate was served piping hot, which immediately set the tone for the quality and care behind each dish. The atmosphere was warm and cheerful, perfectly complemented by a waiter whose sense of humor made the evening even more enjoyable. The food exceeded all our expectations — each dish was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly flavorful. The mushroom sauce, served with both of our main courses, was undoubtedly the star of the meal: rich, savory, and the perfect pairing with the tender pork. To finish, the dessert was an unexpected delight, rounding off an already memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic German cuisine with a lively and welcoming vibe!
Quite a touristy place but I mean it in the best way possible. Fantastic place to try local cuisine and beer. Everything was delicious and I appreciate the fact that it’s possible to order half of the portion. Staff also very friendly. We went there during lunchtime and it was very busy but the staff made sure we got a table.
We stopped by after out walking tour was done. We had no reservations and were seated right away. The ambiance was great! They had live music and dancing. The food was excellent and the restaurant is super cool. A lot of hidden nooks to sit at and explore. Reservations are recommended because we lucked out!
Absolute awesome meal. Food was great, you get the true German atmosphere when you come here. Recommend you have a reservation, but if you arrive before 6 normally there are plenty of seats. Had the pork knuckle, kiddo had the schnitzel and wife had the goulash soup
The ambient is just extremely good, either in the inner patio or the restaurant itself. The price might a be a big expensive (pint of beer + sausage mix platter for 30 eur). But it'll will be a nice memory for me.
