Found “Tante Emma” through recommendations and it did not disappoint. It is a nice and very popular breakfast place that filled up quickly even on a Monday morning. Very friendly and efficient service, great variety of breakfast options. Their daily juice recommendation was very delicious. We were a table of five and that provided us with the opportunity to taste different dishes. Their Bauernomlett was a generous serving of a potato omelette with lots of vegetables and a nice salad. The Bircher Müsli and the Joghurt with fresh fruit were served in generous portions. We also had several variations of the scrambled eggs- all delicious and served with fresh herbs. They also provide a small tea selection. Dishes are prepared fresh and therefore come not necessarily at the same time for the table, but the quality of the dishes makes up for it. Finally the croissants were also buttery and flaky with a nice portion of jam. Clearly worth a visit.

Nice atmosphere, good fresh food, hurry, because it can be filled up pretty quick. A detour from our destination, but worth it.

we had the shakshuka and the chorizo omelette. portions are big and service is good but a bit slow. after waiting to be seated even though we made a reservation, we had to request menus after 10 minutes of no attention. a guy just came and took our chair, which turned out to be a waiter working there. he wasn’t dressed like the others and had a coat on. anyway, in general a nice place to go on sundays with good food.

This place has good coffee☕️ , waitresses were lovely, spoke good English and were helpful. The deco is in good taste. We ordered the scrambled eggs with feta and veggies. It was tasty but kind of soggy. The shakshuka smells excellent but it's taste is overpowered by too many spices, especially the the cumin and paprika, and both dishes were accompanied by a ridiculously tiny piece of bread, no butter.

For brunch: The coffee is average, but the standout items are the croissants and the eggs. The best time to visit is between 11 am and 12:30 pm in winter for the sunny outdoor seating spots. Reservations are possible and recommended on Sundays. Indoors, there are lovely seating benches nicely decorated with crochet window curtains.
