Symposio Restaurant

The atmosphere leaves much to be desired, both in terms of location and ambiance. The sound system is not well suited, even though the music itself is excellent. Without the Google rating we would have probably missed this place. And that would have been a pity, because this is truly a remarkable culinary experience. A solid 10 from us. The service was flawless, and our waiter was very friendly. Portion sizes are just right. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and everyone at the table was delighted. We truly savored it. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant – it’s a must when in Athens.

Everything about Symposio was so good. I came here a few times during my stay in Athens and every meal was perfect — breakfast, dinner, all of it. The owners are genuinely the sweetest people, the kind that make you feel at home the second you walk in. The food? Absolutely amazing. And as someone vegan, I was shocked (in the best way) to see they have a full separate vegan menu — so rare and so well done. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, families… basically anyone who loves great food and good energy.

Went here on my last day in Athens, and it was one of the best restaurants I visited. The atmosphere was lovely with very unique decor and soothing music, which made for a perfect dinner. My girlfriend's drink was excellent, and my Old Fashioned was good, though I would have preferred a bit more bitters and a single large ice sphere instead of cubes. The food was fantastic! We started with the beef tartare and the octopus, both of which were incredibly rich in flavor. Our main courses were equally delicious and well-seasoned, and the dessert was spot on. Our server was a highlight, taking the time to explain each dish, including its ingredients and preparation. This is definitely a restaurant I would go to again!

A true fine dining gem in Athens! The food is outstanding - beautifully prepared, full of flavor, with not a big portions as you’d expect from high cuisine. Prices are surprisingly moderate for the quality. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and the staff are very polite and speak excellent English. Definitely a must-visit when in Athens!

❤️❤️❤️ The food was delicious and so flavorful, the T bone was soft, unlike the other meat that we had tried at some other restaurants, the squid was soft and tasted great with the sesame paste/sauce. The lemonade my daughter ordered was sweet and sour, just the right amount, though the syrupy sugar stayed at the bottom unless you mixed it in. All in all this is an amazing restaurant and fits many individual’s needs. Definitely recommend 💯❤️😊.
