We had dinner at Kalamari in Rhodes and really enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious – the grilled fish, salad, and sides were fresh and full of flavor. The ouzo (42%) was excellent, the music created a lovely atmosphere, and prices were fair. At the end, we were treated to watermelon, which was a very nice gesture. The service was friendly, although the lady (possibly the owner) was working alone, which made everything feel a bit rushed and stressed at times. We had ordered our starter separately from the main course, but everything arrived at once. Still, the overall quality of the food and the atmosphere were very nice. We don’t take off any points, but here are a couple of small tips that could make the experience even better: • Place the menus and tableware more centrally in the room for easier access. • Spread out the speakers so that the music doesn’t only come from the kitchen. Overall, a very nice place with good food, friendly service, fair prices, and thoughtful touches.
This place has to be one of the cleanest places I’ve visited whilst on the island. Fantastic parking out front, with well spaced out tables. The food was reasonably priced, and the seafood was absolutely delicious. The humus was too salty for me, but this may have come down to personal taste. One thing that could be improved is the place lacks any air conditioning or fans to keep the mosquitos away. I got absolutely obliterated. I even contemplated going elsewhere, but sucked it up for the sake of good food. BRING MOSQUITO REPELLENT.
Find this place from Google maps and rating on this place definitely matches! Very nice open restaurant, but enough cover even for windy days. If coming from sunwing resorts you take shortcut from beach, but there is fairly steep hill on way so keep that in mind. We usually came bit after 6pm and was hardly any wait. Never had reservation and got always table right away. Food was always delicious and even picky teenagers found something to eat. Fish dishes could have had bit more flavor on them. Friendly cat's wandering around were cute, especially one with stump tail was hanging with us most of time. All around plesent experience and highly recommend this place to eat!
We went to Kalamari Restaurant for dinner and had no trouble getting a table without a reservation. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. You can really tell it’s made with care. One small downside: as is often the case on Rhodes these days, there was no complimentary Ouzo – which would have been a nice touch. Still, definitely a place worth visiting!
The food is very good. We arrived late, before the closing time, but they served us. The atmosphere, service very very good. Definitely we will come back here and we can't wait to try other dishes.
